Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
A professional teacher education programme designed to prepare competent teachers for upper primary, secondary and senior secondary levels.
01 Programme Overview
The Bachelor of Education programme, generally known as B.Ed., is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (Classes VI–VIII), secondary level (Classes IX–X) and senior secondary level (Classes XI–XII).
02 Eligibility
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences or Humanity are eligible. Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any equivalent qualification may also be considered.
03 Admission Procedure
Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination or other selection process as per the policy of the State Government, U.T. administration and the University.

05 Fee & Regulations
The institution shall charge only such fee as prescribed by the affiliating body/state government concerned in accordance with applicable NCTE regulations and shall not charge donations, capitation fee etc. from students.

Admission eligibility shall be as prescribed by the concerned regulatory authority, affiliating body and Government of Chhattisgarh from time to time.
03 Admission Procedure
Admission and counseling shall be conducted according to the applicable rules, notifications and guidelines issued by the competent authorities of Chhattisgarh.
